Free wireless broadband access in Orleans

The Cape Cod Technology Council and town of Orleans have set up a pilot program for community wireless broadband access. This service is planed to go into effect in other Cape towns.

Multiple battery installation in your vehicle

Have you ever considered adding an additional battery for all your extra equipment?  This article will give you information on how to properly install a second (or third) battery for radios, warning lights, power inverters etc. in your vehicle.

Multiple Sclerosis Challenge Walk

The Multiple Sclerosis Challenge Walk will be utilizing the 146.955 repeater for there event on September 8, 9 & 10th.

All non event traffic is asked to please keep any use to a minimum or use an alternate repeater if possible during the event hours.  Net control will be N1PYN.

New 146.955 Repeater

  Fund rasing goal met!
Donations Meter

Thanks to donations we have reached our $1,700.00 goal for the a new repeater and controller. The new repeater is a Kenwood TKR-750 with an Arcom RC210 controller. It has been purchased and is ready to be placed into service, once the planned grounding at the site is completed. That should be in the next week or so...
