Boston Marathon - Volunteers Needed

Amateur Radio volunteer registration has been extended for a final time and closes on Friday August 6th, 2021 at 500 PM EDT for the 125th anniversary of the Boston Marathon.

Falmouth Road Race - Volunteers Needed

Barry /KB1TLR ; communications coordinator for the Falmouth Road Race is looking for volunteer radio operators. The race is Sunday August 15th, you will need to be on station prior to 8:00 am in Falmouth. Depending on your station you may be required to wear a mask. Barry will put out a complete operations manual prior to the race with all the details you should need. The only equipment you need is a 2 M HT with a hygain antenna if possible. Red Cross Amateur Radio EmComm Drills and Training

From: Wayne Robertson, K4WK A nationwide EmComm Radio Drill is set for May 8, and we are having monthly Winlink trainings between now and then. Last Fall's Drill attracted over 1,500 hams in 47 states to practice passing Red Cross traffic and it was written up in QST [QST Feb 2010 pp. 71-72]. To be informed, pls join our groups.io for updates and announcements.  We've just opened a website, too.
